I started with Racing Welfare in June 2018 on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave and have become permanent from January 2019. My role is Accounts Assistant which involves data entry onto the sales and purchase ledgers, processing of receipts and payments.
From leaving school I went into office work starting as an office junior and progressed into an Accounts role although not qualified, I have gained knowledge/experience over the years. I worked for the BBA for nearly 19 years with the accounts department.
I enjoy working for Racing Welfare and being part of an organisation that makes a difference.
We are able to operate through the generosity and support of those who care
about the people who work to make our day at the races possible.
