I joined Racing Welfare as Fundraising Manager in March 2021, having worked in a variety of fundraising roles for charities including Sue Ryder, CLIC Sargent and RNIB over the past five years. In my new role, I will be supporting the Head of Fundraising as we look to continue to grow the charity’s income, with a particular focus on Gifts in Wills, Trusts and Foundations and Community Fundraising.
I’m something of a latecomer to horseracing, having only started to really follow the sport after leaving University. But in that time, I’ve developed a keen interest in the sport and was especially excited to start my new role during the Cheltenham Festival. Racing Welfare is vital to the horseracing industry and to those who work within the sector, and I am excited to have the opportunity to play my part in such a wonderful cause.
