My role as a Welfare Officer covers Scotland and The North of England. I have a long history of working in welfare within the racing industry, working as an Almoner for the Injured Jockeys Fund for 17yrs and now joining the Racing Welfare team to continue the rewarding and important work that supports everyone in this wonderful sporting industry.
It is definitely a lifestyle that most people who work in racing wouldn’t change, Racing Welfare helps and supports everyone through the rocky patches so they can continue to stay in this great industry.
We are able to operate through the generosity and support of those who care
about the people who work to make our day at the races possible.
