Racegoers Club announce Racing Welfare as official charity partner

The Racegoers Club is delighted to announce Racing Welfare as its official charity partner which will see the Club support the dedicated charity that provides guidance and help to racing’s workforce.

Caroline Davies, Racegoers Club Chairman, said: 

“We are absolutely delighted to announce this official partnership with Racing Welfare who do such important work throughout the sport.  As the official supporters club for racing fans we are also a not for profit organisation which means supporting Racing Welfare is a very natural move for us.”

‘Uncovered’ release charity single in aid of Racing Welfare

The band, originating from Lambourn and Swindon was formed in April 2017 by the guitarist Shaun Johnson. Uncovered have played a handful of shows and are building up a solid reputation among crowds of all ages. Their professional approach and dedication has been renowned among audiences.

‘Be Friendly’ – Racing Welfare’s telephone befriending service has launched

Racing Welfare has launched a telephone befriending service for vulnerable, lonely or isolated people from the horseracing industry with the aim of reducing and preventing loneliness and social isolation. The service has been named ‘Be Friendly’ after the dual Haydock Sprint Cup winner owned by Sir Peter O’Sullevan, a longstanding supporter of the charity.
