We operate through the generosity and support of people and organisations that care about those working behind-the-scenes in horseracing who make the sport possible.
The demand for our services continues to rise. In 2018 more than 2,380 people received support from the charity through more than 10,500 individual support sessions. Our work aims to help people to thrive in day to day life and through a range of challenges specific to a career in racing. Getting involved helps ensure we reach our fundraising targets.
We need to raise more than £2 million each year.
This allows Racing Welfare to continue supporting racing’s workforce from the beginning of their careers through to retirement, with a range of life challenges: • Accidents and Injuries • Mental Health and Wellbeing • Bereavement • Debt and Benefits Advice • Housing Issues • Illness and Disability • Personal and Relationship Issues • Retirement • Careers Advice Getting involved in supporting Racing Welfare helps us make a difference to the lives of racing’s people.
