Episode 2 – The Breath Psych with Aodhagán Conlon
In the lead up to World Mental Health Day, which takes place on Saturday 10th October, we will be holding two Instagram live sessions with former national hunt jockey Aodhagán Conlon. As well as now studying for a PhD in Sports and Exercise Psychology and working with the BHA and PJA as a performance consultant Aodhagán also has a new venture, The Breath Psych. Using his research, Aodhagán has launched The Breath Psych on Instagram to provide viewers with breathing techniques that can enhance mental and physical wellbeing.
Part One – Wednesday 7th October
In part one, Racing Livestyle host Sophia Monkman will chat to Aodhagán about his career, his educational background and will delve into the research which has lead him to launch his new venture, The Breath Psych.
Part Two – Thursday 8th October
In the second episode, Aodhagán will discuss breathing techniques that can enhance psychological and physiological wellbeing. He will explain how and why the techniques work before giving a live demonstration which views can participate in. There will also be the opportunity to ask Aodhagán questions.
