Children from the Fairstead House School Choir were joined by students from Newmarket Academy, the community choir VivaVoices and Newmarket Town Band to take part in Racing Welfare’s annual Carol Concert which raises funds for the charity’s Chaplaincy service. The sales ring was packed to the rafters with a sell-out crowd enjoying the festive evening which raised £5,000 for the charity.
Readers included Racehorse Trainers James Eustace, David Lanigan and Amy Murphy along with the Manager of Pantile Stud, Bo Hicks-Little and Will McNeile from the Godolphin Flying Start Programme.
The Godolphin Flying Start graduate programme students were also on hand to help serve mince pies, stollen and mulled wine at the start of the event and to undertake an exit collection at the end of proceedings which raised just over £180.
