The Vertem Northern Racing Awards Return
Next Friday, 26th November, will see the return of the Northern Racing Awards (formerly Magic Moments) to the Racing Welfare in-person events calendar having been lost to the pandemic in 2020.
The glittering black-tie event, which is sponsored for the first time by Vertem, aims to champion stand-out performances from racing across Scotland and northern England.
The awards, which are held at Newcastle racecourse, celebrate flat, national hunt and point-to-point racing in the North and categories include flat and jumps ride of the season and training performance of the season which will be presented alongside awards that focus on the breeding and point-to-point side of the industry. There will also be a Racing Industry Special Recognition Award and a Magic Moment award sponsored by Vertem.
