The ROA Epsom Owners’ & Trainers’ Awards are Back for 2021

Next Saturday, 27th November, will see the return of the Epsom Owners’ & Trainers’ Awards to the Racing Welfare in-person events calendar having been lost to the pandemic in 2020. The glittering black-tie event, which is sponsored by the ROA and held at Epsom Downs racecourse, will once again be hosted by Sky Sports Racing presenter Hayley Moore.

The awards will celebrate the achievements of Epsom’s racing community throughout the year and are made up of both points-based awards and those judged by a panel. In charge of deciding on the award winners this year were Andrew Cooper, Head of Racing and Clerk of the Course at Epsom Downs and Sandown Park; Howard Wright, former Associate Editor of the Racing Post; esteemed sports presenter Rishi Persad and new to the panel this year, Sadie Evans from our headline sponsor Racehorse Owners Association.
