The Gold and Green Crowd Announce Support for Racing Welfare
We are delighted to announce that successful racing syndicate The Gold and Green Crowd has agreed to support Racing Welfare this season. The syndicate, which has 14 horses spread across eight trainers for 2020, is keen to give back to the sport that they enjoy so much and will be donating a percentage of prize money from all syndicate owned horses to our Covid-19 Emergency Appeal.
We have a membership who are passionate about racing, and they are full of respect and admiration for those behind the scenes who make it all happen. Having the opportunity to try and support the excellent efforts of Racing Welfare is a privilege and we hope the horses manage to accrue an amount that makes a difference.

Our appeal was launched earlier this year with the aim of raising £500,000 to bridge the income deficit faced when our traditional calendar of fundraising events was lost to the pandemic. Support for the appeal has been incredible and the total raised now sits just shy of £280,000. We still have a long way to go to reach our target and are incredibly grateful for the support of The Gold and Green Crowd. The dual-purpose syndicate has been well represented in recent weeks with Militry Decoration and Image of the Moon amongst those to put in stand-out performances.
