Regional Welfare Officer (Wales)
Horses have played a huge part in my life. From the friends I’ve made and the colleges I attended, to the jobs I’ve had and the opportunities given to me to travel, live and work abroad.
Although I’m not from an equestrian or racing family, I have ridden from a young age with strong interests in Hunting and Eventing. I first worked in racing in 2003 and completely fell in love with the sport and the industry. I’ve been extremely privileged to have worked with and been connected to some top class horses, and enjoyed the thrill that goes with being a part of their successes. I am passionate about racing and all the people involved with it. I’m excited to be taking on the role as Welfare Officer for the Wales region. I’m looking forward to meeting new people and hearing everyone’s stories. For me this is an opportunity for me to give back to an industry that has given me so much.
