Racing Welfare has today announced the postponement of this year’s ARC Middleham Open Day, scheduled for Good Friday 10th April. The move has come in light of Government advice issued yesterday regarding ‘non-essential social contact and unnecessary travel’. Racing Welfare’s Chief Executive, Dawn Goodfellow, said: “Following the updated guidelines issued by the Government yesterday regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, and in order to ensure that we are doing all that we can to restrict the spread of the virus, we have sadly had to make the decision postpone the ARC Middleham Open Day. This course of action has been taken in full consultation with the Middleham Trainers Association and I would like to thank everyone for their support of the event up until this point.”
Racing Welfare will be contacting everyone directly who had booked tickets in advance for the event, with refunds being offered for the cost of tickets. Any queries regarding the cancellation of the event should be directed to email@example.com.
