Josephine Gordon Tops the Bill at the Cambridge Roar Racing Dinner

Josephine Gordon has been announced as the final name to grace the list of panellists for this year’s Cambridge Roar’s The Racing Dinner, incorporating the Newmarket July Festival Preview Night on Thursday 4th July.  Proceeds raised at the charity event will go to Racing Welfare, which is being held at the beautiful Quy Mill Hotel, Cambridge.

Having won the Champion Apprentice title in 2016, Josephine enjoyed a breakthrough season last year thanks to prolific associations with the likes of Hugo Palmer and William Haggas, smashing through the landmark total of 100 winners for the year last November.  She completes the event’s five-strong line up of racing experts, which also includes Michael Prosser, Director of Racing and Clerk of the Course at Newmarket racecourses; Tom Goff, Chairman of Blandford Bloodstock and Director of the National Stud; Pat Cooney, Head of Racing PR at Bet365, and rising star of the training ranks Richard Spencer.

Hosted by Derek ‘Tommo’ Thompson, the evening includes reception drinks and an exquisite three course meal, with tickets available from just £45.  The panellists will then take centre stage after dinner to provide entertaining insight and share their top tips and thoughts on which horses are set to light up the track at the one of the feature meetings of the flat racing calendar.  The Racing Dinner is almost fully sold out but last minute ticket or table enquires can be made through http://www.thecambridgeroar.co.uk/home/events/the-racing-dinner/The July Festival takes place at the Jockey Club’s Newmarket July Course from 12th -14th July.
