Today we have taken the difficult decision to cancel both Epsom and Malton Open Days. In light of the incredibly sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, some trainers no longer felt comfortable in opening their yards, while the revised racing fixture for Sunday has also meant that for others, it is no longer possible to open.

While we know many will be disappointed, these are exceptional circumstances. Our thoughts remain with King Charles III and all members of the Royal Family at this time.

We are delighted to announce that the ARC Malton Open Day will go ahead this year on Sunday 11th September.

A BRILLIANT DAY OUT FOR RACING ENTHUSIASTS AND FAMILIES ALIKE

Each year the racing yards of Malton welcome the general public and offer a fantastic insight into what goes on behind the scenes as well as the opportunity to meet an array of equine heroes, racehorse trainers and dedicated stable staff, all whilst raising money for Racing Welfare, the charity that supports the horseracing industry’s workforce.

The Malton Open Day will take place on Sunday 11th September and is kindly sponsored by Arena Racing Company, ARC.  This is already a big weekend for Yorkshire racing with ARC hosting the final classic of the season, The St Leger at Doncaster the day before at Doncaster Racecourse.
