What is the Betfair Bucket List?
In recognition of Betfair’s 10-year sponsorship of Racing Staff Week, this special initiative celebrates the people behind racing by supporting one Racing Welfare beneficiary to achieve something truly important to them.
It’s about more than just funding an activity – it’s about recognising your journey, championing your ambition, and sharing your story.
Who can apply?
Anyone who works in the racing or Thoroughbred breeding industry who has a connection to Racing Welfare, either through being a direct beneficiary or knowing someone who has benefitted from the charity’s support.
We’re looking for applications that:
- Share your personal story and connection to Racing Welfare
- Clearly outline your chosen activity, experience, or challenge
- Explain why it matters to you and what it would mean to achieve it
What you could receive
- Up to £1,000 towards your chosen experience or challenge
- Ongoing support from Racing Welfare throughout your journey
- The opportunity to share your story and inspire others
How it works
- Submit your application outlining your idea and why it matters by Monday 6th July 2026
- Racing Welfare and Betfair will select one winner
- You’ll work with us to bring your bucket list experience to life before Racing Staff Week 2027
