If you are having to self-isolate and are on a low income and unable to work from home the government is introducing a £500 support payment to enable you to self-isolate without having to worry about your finances. The support will be available from 28th September. You can find out more here.
Already Claiming Universal Credit due to Covid-19?
If you or your partner are now returning to work or have found new employment you need to inform the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP). You can do this by updating the details in your online Universal Credit journal. If you have been affected financially by Covid-19 and need immediate financial assistance Racing Welfare has introduced Covid-19 Emergency Grants.

The measures introduced by the Government to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus are a challenge for all of us, but could be particularly worrying for you if you are a victim of domestic abuse. You may be feeling unsafe if you are isolated in your home with your abuser and if you are now having to work from home, you may have lost your only safe place.
